Introduction: 


For security purposes, your LivePerson account password expires once in a defined period of time. If your password already expired, you will be prompted to reset your password upon login.
If your password did not yet expire, you can renew it either from the Admin Console or from the Agent Console.

Instructions: 


From the Admin Console:

  1. Log into the Admin Console.

  2. Click UserSetUp > Operators.

  3. From the list of the operators, click on your username.

    Add/Edit Operator window is displayed.

  4. Type your new password into the Password field and retype it into the Retype password field.

     Note: Your new password should comply with the password policy set by your account administrator.

    5.  Click Update.

    Your new password takes effect immediately.

From the Agent Console (version 9.x):

  1. Log into the Agent Console with your current password.

  2. On the File menu, click User Information.

    Agent Information window is displayed.

  3. Click the Password tab.

  4. Enter your old and your new passwords into the relevant fields.

     Note: Your new password should comply with the password policy set by your account administrator.

  5. Click OK.

    Your new password takes effect immediately.
