Introduction:

LivePerson has an automatic login mode. When this is enabled, you are logged in with the same agent user name and password every time. If you update your username or password, the Agent Console continues to use the previous login information until the Agent Console is updated.
To update the Agent Console, you must disable the automated login mode and enter your new credentials.

Instructions:

Agent Console version 9.X

To disable the automatic login:

  1. Exit the Agent Console (File > Exit)
  2. In Windows, verify that any hidden files are displayed.:
    • Windows XP:  Go to the Control Panel > Folder Options. In the "View" tab, select to Show hidden files and folders.
    • Windows Vista/7/8: Go to the Control Panel and type Folder in the search box. Click Show hidden files and folders
