LiveEngage provides you with two predefined reports that help determine the efficiency of your campaigns. They analyze the behavior of the visitors that were exposed to your campaigns.

  • Use the Report by campaign report to get a high level view of the campaigns (without detailing the data per each offer within the campaign)
  • Use the Report by offer report to get a detailed view of each of the offers within a campaign


Both of the reports provide a similar output format:

The parameters displayed in the report output are:

 Parameter
 Explanation
Impressions
The number of times an offer or all the campaign offers (depends on the selected report) were displayed to the visitors
Clicks
The number of times an offer was clicked
CTR (Click-through rate)
A number of times an offer was clicked (Clicks column) , divided by the number of times an offer was displayed (value from the Impressions column)
Conversion rate (in %)
Calculated according to the conversion rate types that you chose in the Advanced section (before running the report).
  • If you chose the View through conversion type, conversion rate will be the number of conversions (value from the Conversion column) divided by the number of visitors exposed to your offers (value from the Impressions column).
  • If you chose the Click through conversion type, the conversion rate will be the number of conversions (value from the Conversion column) divided by the number of visitors that clicked on the offers (value from the Clicks column).
Conversion Value
A sum of the conversion indicator values.

In order to view values for this parameter, you need to select a conversion indicator before generating the report.
If you do not select a conversion indicator, you will see N/A instead of values.
