The Advanced section of the LiveEngage reports allows you to choose the type of the conversion rate that will be displayed in it.

Conversion rate is one of the indicators that reflect the efficiency of your campaigns. There are two types of conversion rates. 

  • Click through conversion rate
  • View through conversion rate

The calculation of these rates depends on the type of the report that you are generating (Report by campaign / Report by offer): 

  • Click through conversion rate for the Report by campaign measures the rate (in percent) of conversions among the visitors that clicked on any of the offers within a chosen campaign.

  • Click through conversion rate for the Report by offer measures the rate (in percent) of conversions among the visitors that clicked on a specific offer. The rate is calculated per each offer within a chosen campaign.

  • View through conversion rate for the Report by campaign measures the rate (in percent) of conversions among the visitors that were exposed to any of the offers within a chosen campaign.

  • View through conversion rate for the Report by offer measures the rate (in percent) of conversions among the visitors that were exposed to a specific offer. The rate is calculated per each offer within a chosen campaign.

After selecting the conversion indicator, the Advanced section is displayed. 
Select the requested conversion type from the displayed options.

emptyStringNOTE:  For the "View through conversion” rate type, you can generate two different reports:

  • View through conversion (without a control group):
    Choose this option if you want to receive data only on the exposed group (without comparing it to a control group)

  • View through conversion with a control group:
    Choose this option if you want to compare the conversion rates among exposed visitors to the conversion rates among unexposed visitors
