Timestamps show the exact time that chat lines are sent and received.
By adding timestamps to chat interactions in the Agent Console, you can monitor agent response times and keep track of visitor wait times. You can also add or remove timestamps for chat transcripts viewed in the Admin Console.
To enable timestamps in your chats:
NOTE: Timestamps may not be an accurate indication of when a message was sent or received.
